Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Really good Gyro sandwich. They make it on a pita sandwich, instead of wrap. It was enormous, a half would've been plenty. Really delicious - tasted homemade. I'll be going back to try other items.

This place was fantastic! Big portions, quality ingredients at a fair price. Four of us from work headed there one afternoon with zero expectations and we all left very very happy. It's so refreshing to see owners that take such pride in their work. We'll all be going back soon!

Excellent chicken sandwich and friendly service. I have been told that this place serves Croatian food and it definitely did not disappoint -Chicken was tender and delicious -Bread was a type of pita bread or something similar. It was just right! Good texture with just the right amount of carbs -Friendly and nice service Would definitely return

European, I was thinking Italy, France, Germany, etc. but this is more Eastern European, I noted the staff and many of the patrons speaking what appeared to be Slavic dialects It is a good sign when European's are patronizing a European restaurant it hints that they must be doing it right. We went in for lunch I ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich, it came with Chicken breast meat, Gyro meat, Swiss Cheese, ranch sauce and veggies. It was served stuffed in a Pita style bread, I opted for the full which was a very generous portion, half would have been plenty. Flavor was very good, the bread had a nice chew. My coworker got one meat and one chees pita pie, she was going to opt for the pizza but the 20 minute wait was too much for lunch and the pita pies were coming out of the oven. They cook up full size pies, the size of a small-medium pizza and sell it by the slice. The pies were very tasty, they appeared to be made from filo dough, lots of layers of flaky crust on top and bottom stuffed with flavorful filling, again meat on one and feta chees in the other. In my opinion, they were very good but needed a dipping sauce to add a little more to the experience. In summary, great servers, eclectic and unique menu items, great flavor, generous portions at the right price.

I've never had a European sandwich before until I came here...and man was it worth it! This place has very good sandwiches and great service. They put a unique twist by using pita-like bread as your sandwich bread. The items inside them are quite tasty. I tried their kabob plates and those are good but a bit too heavy for me as a lunch item (pita bread, fries, kabobs and small salad). Pro's: - Great sandwiches - Get free small bag of chips with sandwich or meal orders (You have to ask them) - Great service - Affordable Con's: - Difficult to find (they need a bigger sign somewhere with a more noticeable logo)

Oh good god in heaven. Best sandwich I've ever had. I got the chicken/gyro sandwich, and it was amazing. My first visit there, and definitely not my last.

Absolutely the best pita bread! They bake all their breads right there. The European sandwich was outstanding. We will be back!

What a nice family owned restaurant. The Pizza here is good and very reasonable price. A few times I've put gyro meat on it. Yummy! I've also had their sandwiches. I enjoyed them and they were quite tasty. What else can I say good food and reasonable price.

This is the best Bosnian out there. Tried a few other places around that I thought were good but this place is quite a bit better. Also, you get plenty for the price. I was very pleasantly surprised. If you like Mediterranean food you will love what they offer here.

In a word: delicious. This unassuming little deli has some great food. Everything I've had from the sandwiches to the pizza to the cevapi is incredibly good.

This is my 100th 3-star review, which clarifies, at least for me, which rating would get to the century mark first. A few things to know...this is on the west side of Redwood Road in the Redwood Business Park facing the street in one of the units. You can't see the sign over the door from the street nor can you see it's name on the plaza sign. It's in the same area as Pro Tint, whose signage you can read easily, though it is south of that place a bit. The menu is very eclectic and unique. I liked that. I liked less that they had zero acceptable drinks. I had one of their sandwiches, I think the Euro. They brought it out to me whole, which is probably a 8" diameter pita cut in half and stuffed with a pile of stuff, both a hot and cold side. I wound up cutting it in half myself to make it manageable, but make no mistake. These sandwiches are sloppy. While ok, they're not really good enough to make up for that, unless you start adding in some of the toppings on the table, such as the Italian spice packed and Parmesan, such as I did. That upgraded the sandwich notably, but I'm rating it based on how they made it, not on how I modified it. This is the spot I was hoping to utilize one day to get a pizza for lunch, but after hearing it would take 20 - 25 minutes (for a lunch pizza!!! God, whyyyyy?), today turned out not to be the day for that. The sandwich was inoffensive and bordered on good after I doctored it, but nothing I would intentionally drive that far to get again. I'll be back because I really wanted to try the lunch pizza, but it will have to be mind-blowing for me to get past their incredibly awful drink selection. This may go up (or I may find something else on the menu I want to try), but this place, while quirky, isn't quite up to go-to level yet.

I have driven past this place everyday for months and finally decided to give it a try. I ordered the full gyro. It comes in sandwich form rather than a folded pita. It was a little greasy, but was awesome. I have heard that their chevapi, pizzas and pita are good also. I will be going back.

This place is bomb. Had half of a BBQ sammie and it still filled me up. Also had a bite out of my man's euro sammie. They were absolutely delicious. The fries were okay, I know they were frozen but still tasted fine. I did want to try some pizza, but obviously didn't want to order a whole pie. They should do pizza by the slice!

My kind of place! Off the beaten path, inconspicuous, strangely unique menu, and highly rated by Yelpers. Don't let the location or store front deter you; walk right in & get a bite. Although quiet & cold on the inside, these unique & tasty sandwiches more than make up for it! I ordered the recommended European Sandwich and boy was I happy. Got the whole thing & devoured every last bite. 4 meats, veggies, zesty sauce, all stuffed within their magical fluffy cloud bread! All for less than $10, can't wait to come back and knock out that Gyro too.

We went to this place for one thing and one thing only: the cevapi. And while other menu items looked quite tasty based on what I saw (pizza, sandwiches), it was the cevapi that lead my wife and I here on a journey across town. You see, ever since we spent time in Bosnia a couple of summers ago and had the good fortune of trying what seems to be Bosnia's national dish (the aforementioned cevapi), we've been on a mission to find the best here in Salt Lake. Some might find that idea laughable. I mean, good Bosnian in Salt Lake? Come on now. But considering Salt Lake has a Bosnian population of roughly 5,000 people, the idea is not as far-fetched as many might imagine. The cevapi served at this place is good and reminds me of the cevapi at Old Bridge Cafe, though I must say, I tend to favor the cevapi served at Bosna more. The bread at this place is superior to Bosna's as they toast/fry it on one side so it doesn't get soggy, and the sides are more abundant (served with onion, sour cream and red pepper paste versus onions only), but I think Bosna still wins out on flavor and texture. The fries here are good, and like Old Bridge, you can grab yourself a cold Cockta soda, which I always enjoy. In summary, good food, but I will stick to Bosna for my cevapi fix. With that said, I'm excited to go back to try their pizza and European sandwich, as they both looked so good.

It takes me about 5 minutes to walk to this place from my office. I did not know there were grub gems in west valley city. I was walking past this place and decided I was going to try it. You can call your order in ahead of time. They provide excellent service. The food is authentic. I can recommend the European Sandwich, The Pita Pie, their Pizza and the Cevapi. I thought the European burger was strange, it just wasn't what I would expect a burger to be. If I'm having a tough day at work I like to skip out for a little bit and come here. This place is worth trying.

Wow. I just had a seriously awesome sandwich from here. The bread seems to be freshly baked and almost pizza dough-like. Toppings were generous and fresh. I had the BBQ chicken sandwich, but was seriously tempted by the European sandwich. The sandwich was amazing. The employees, who I assume are also the owners, were friendly. And as it seems like they make everything to order, be prepared to wait a bit longer than you may be accustomed to. Oh, one more thing: if you're going for lunch, get there at 11:45 and you'll be glad you did. Starting about 12 they get slammed and the place is packed.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn! I could leave it at that, but seriously, the European Sandwich is special. The bread that they make with pizza dough, the meat, cheese, the dressing all creates a fabulous combination. Me and my wife enjoyed splitting the Euro Sandwich and a Greek Salad, very tasty and reasonable price. Don't be driving very fast on Redwood when you are trying to find this place or you will miss it. I hope I have the guts to try some of the other food at EPD, because I know I could never go wrong with the Euro Sandwich.

Stopped in to try their European sandwich and I'm really glad I did. Not sure where the owners are from but definitely a European non-english speaking country. The sandwich was served on a pita bread kind of, sort of... Anyhow, lots of meat and good condiments that really complimented it. The meat had great flavor and I'd definitely recommend it, especially if you like spicy food. Be warned the whole sandwich is big and will definitely fill you up and more than likely be too much.

I just ate one of the best sandwiches I have ever had, Seriously!! Found this place on YELP and I am so glad I checked this place out.. Had the European Sandwich, and man I enjoyed every single bite of this amazing creation. The best thing about this sandwich is the incredible chewy bread that is used. It's similar to pita but thicker and much chewier, it makes the sandwich just that much better.. The sandwich has a great meat combination that really goes well together. Here are the toppings Corned beef, Pastrami, Ham, Pepperoni, Bacon bits (yes BACON BITS!!) Lettuce, red onion, tomato, banana peppers, Jalapenos, thousand island and Italian dressing all centered between amazing round chewy Delicious bread. The only downside to the experience was the unhappy looking Blonde Euro chick working behind the counter (not pleasant), but if she continues to make sandwiches like this then she can be as pissy as she wants. Next time I'm trying the pizza..

Fabulous! I stopped in to take out a pizza while in Salt Lake on business and when I finished I was wishing this was in my hometown. Everything about the pizza was awesome, the crust, the cheese, the freshness and amount of toppings, and the perfect tangy-ness of the sauce. I actually could have done with a little more sauce on the pizza, but it didn't take anything away from how delicious it was. It's really nice to see a mom&pop business doing so well and making such high quality food. I'll definitely be back here next time I'm in Salt Lake.

I work really close to here, can just walk over. I didn't know this place existed until walking past it the other day. I always thought fast food was my only lunch option, but there are some good local places I haven't been tapping into. I got the Cevapi, it was less than $5, I am really full and it was delicious. It's made fresh, so it takes a little bit to get the food. Next time I'll call in my order beforehand. I am going to try everything on the menu eventually :)

This little deli is definitely in my top 3 all time as far as delis go. For the cost of a mass manufactured semi-tasteless sub you would get at a deli chain you can get a round sandwich on some kind of thin but chewy Eastern European bread that I have never had before with high quality meats, toppings and condiments. On top of all that it is hard to even finish the whole portion. They also have a specialty item which I cannot recall the name of but it is a crispy bread with a bit of meat and veggies. The portion size of this is a bit smaller but it is outstanding. If you go in just ask them or give them a description they will know what your talking about. The staff/owners are very friendly and helpful. If I had not moved away from Salt Lake I would still be frequenting this establishment.

Surprisingly, this little place has pretty good pizza. Its new york style pizza with good crispiness but not much chew. The sauce is almost non-existent, but what is there is tasty and the cheese is plentiful. I thoroughly enjoyed my pepperoni pizza. My companions got the meat lovers and it was over-loaded with various meat stuffs. I have not tried the sandwiches yet, but they look delicious. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed and possesses the charm of a family owned restaurant. Update: I have now tried the sandwiches and they are fantastic. They maintain the proper ratio of innards to bread and the bread is a wonderful chewy type which i have never had anywhere else. I have also tried a regional, eastern European i believe, dish they offer which was a meat and potatoes concoction inside a flaky dough. It was delicious and extremely cheap. Since finding this gem my coworkers and I have become regular lunch patrons and every time we go in the owners/operators are very friendly and helpful. If your lost as to what to try, ask for their suggestion. They wont lead you astray.

I've never had a bad meal at this place. The goulash is absolutely amazing and so is the spinach pita!

I eat there once a week if not every other week. I work near by and just happened in about a year ago and now love it. I haven't had anything I didn't like, however I will say the best is the European Sandwich, one of my FAVORITE sandwiches of all time. Also if you want to go healthy order the chicken breast with all Veggies. The fry's are great but honestly the flavor of the veggies are just as good an so much healthier.

Glad I stopped in for a sandwich! Had the half-size European which included fresh ham, pastrami, lettuce, tomato, bell peppers, cheese, thousand island dressing... mmm. The hot, fresh bread was a pleasant surprise -- different than expected but very good. The half size was almost as much food as a footlong at Subway and only $4.49. Will definitely have to come back for the pizza sometime.
